A Letter Across Time

Hey, past self!
Guess what? Scientists cracked time travel in our lifetime! Well, some parts of it, at least. Humans haven't been able to visit the past, but we can send letters that randomly appear at selected destinations.
There's a word limit, though, so I'm going to make this brief - you did it! You made our dreams a reality. The hard work, the sleepless nights, the planning and reconstructing, the skills we learned, and the relationships we built, they all paid off.
I chose to send this letter to this particular day because I know how rough today was for us. We nearly threw in the towel, but hang in there because the life you're fighting for, it's glorious. I can't even begin to describe it. We're living in the dream people told us was impossible - too out of reach.
Preserve past me, it'll all be worth it, that I can assure you.
I'm grateful for all the sacrifices you made to give me this present, your future.
Love and hope,
Your future self.
